Terms and Conditions · Mission Memories

Last updated: October 28, 2026

These terms govern the purchase of the “Mission Memories” service, offered by Medusa Web, operated by Medusa Web LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas, USA. They are separate from the general Medusa Web Terms and Conditions. If there are differences between the two documents, these terms prevail for Mission Memories. By reserving or purchasing, the client accepts these terms in full.

1. What the Service Includes

The service includes the chosen package (Essential, Family, or Legacy): a private website to share the mission and a 7x10 inch commemorative book of up to 800 pages. The contents of each package are those published on the page. Any add-on is quoted and confirmed in writing.

2. Prices and Payment Terms

a) Prices are those published on the page at the time of reservation, in U.S. dollars.

b) Payment 1: $100 USD to reserve the place. It is 100% refundable as long as we have not begun work.

c) Payment 2: completing 50% of the total package price to begin work (payment 1 is deducted from this amount).

d) Payment 3: the remaining 50% is charged when the client approves the first draft of the website.

e) Work is considered started once we receive the start payment and the necessary content. From that moment on, the deposit paid is non-refundable.

3. Delivery Timelines

a) The first draft of the website is delivered within 5 business days after we receive the start payment and the missionary’s information.

b) After the draft is approved, adjustments are made and the website is published within a reasonable timeframe agreed upon with the client.

c) Timelines assume the client provides the requested content and information on time. Client delays extend the timelines by the same amount.

4. Revision and Lack of Response

Each package includes one round of revisions on the first draft. If the client does not respond within 10 business days of the revision notice, the project is paused until a response is received. If 45 calendar days pass from the revision notice without a response, we may consider the project cancelled; in that case, the deposit is non-refundable.

5. The Website During the Mission

a) Hosting and the website’s domain are included for 24 months from publication.

b) The family decides what is published: the website works with private registration and access approval.

c) The family owns its content (texts, photographs, messages) and may request a copy when the service ends.

d) Medusa Web retains ownership of the code, design, and platform used to build the website.

e) When the 24 months are completed, the website may be renewed separately, at a cost that will be communicated in advance.

6. The Book

a) The book is created at the end of the mission, using the content published on the website. The family must approve the final content before printing.

b) The book is 7x10 inches and up to 800 pages. If the content exceeds that limit, content is selected or an additional volume is quoted.

c) Delivery takes 4 to 6 weeks after the final content is approved, including printing and shipping.

d) Shipping within the United States is included. International shipping has a flat rate of $75 USD.

e) If printing or shipping costs increase significantly before printing, we may adjust the price, notifying the family before printing.

f) If the missionary finishes the mission earlier than planned, the book is created with the content published up to that date.

7. Content, Privacy, and Consent

a) The family is responsible for providing texts, photographs, and other material, and for having the right to use them and the consent of the people who appear in them, including minors.

b) We do not publish content without the family’s approval.

c) Medusa Web does not sell families’ personal data or content.

d) We are not responsible for errors or omissions in the content provided by the client.

8. Independent Service

Mission Memories is an independent service. It is not an official product and is not affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

9. No Special Warranties

We deliver a functional website and a book in accordance with the contracted scope. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party services (hosting, printing, shipping), although we will work to resolve any issue.

10. Cancellation by Medusa Web

We may decline or cancel a project before it begins for justified reasons. In that case, we will refund any payment that does not correspond to work already started.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
