Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2026-09-21
These Terms and Conditions govern the web design and development services offered by Medusa Web, operated by Medusa Web LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas, USA. By hiring any of our plans, the client accepts these terms in full.
1. Scope of Service
The scope of each project is defined by the plan purchased (Landing Web, Business Site, or Advanced Plan) and any additional agreement confirmed in writing (email or message). Any functionality, section, or page not included in the original plan will be quoted separately.
2. Deposit and Payment Terms
A 50% deposit of the total project value is required to begin any project.
This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance, including client-initiated cancellation, once work has begun.
The remaining 50% is due once the client approves the changes from the first round of revisions, and must be paid before final delivery of the site.
3. Delivery Timelines
The first draft of the website is delivered within 48 hours of project start (once the deposit and necessary client content have been received).
Final delivery occurs between 1 and 7 business days after the client approves the revision changes, depending on project size and type.
These timelines apply as long as the client provides content, access, and requested information in a timely manner. Client-caused delays will proportionally extend delivery timelines.
4. Revision Round and Response Deadlines
Each plan includes one round of revisions on the first draft.
From the moment the client is notified that the project is ready for review (“revision notice”):
If the client does not respond within 10 business days of the notice, the project is paused and will not proceed until feedback is received.
If the client does not respond within 30 calendar days of the revision notice (i.e., 10 additional business days after the pause period), the project is considered fully cancelled. In this case, the deposit paid is non-refundable, and no partial or final deliverable will be provided.
5. Client Content and Materials
The client is responsible for providing text, images, logos, and any other material necessary for the development of the site. Medusa Web is not responsible for delays resulting from late delivery of these materials, nor for errors or omissions in client-provided content.
6. Ownership and Final Delivery
Full ownership of the website (code, design, and developed content) transfers to the client only after full payment (100% of the agreed value) has been received. Prior to that, all work remains the property of Medusa Web.
7. Domain and Hosting
Domain and hosting are additional services, not included in the base price of any plan, unless expressly stated otherwise in the quote.
8. Maintenance
Monthly maintenance is an optional service contracted separately. Its scope and price are defined in a specific agreement independent of these terms.
9. No Guarantee of Results
Medusa Web commits to delivering a functional website in accordance with the contracted scope. No specific business outcomes (sales, traffic, rankings) are guaranteed as a result of using the site.
10. Cancellation by Medusa Web
Medusa Web reserves the right to decline or cancel a project before it begins for justified reasons, in which case any payment not corresponding to already-started work will be refunded.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
